What is bio-hacking?


Bio-hacking is a term used to explain simple hacks for simplifying your health & wellness journey. Things such as losing weight easily, increasing your energy, and living a more rich life full of vitality & joy. See 4 tips below on how you can utilize bio-hacking.


4 SIMPLE TIPS FOR BIO HACKING


1) Intermittent fasting

Have you been looking for the secret weight loss pill? Have you been through every fad diet out there? Well, this isn't a myth, and it's so easy to do that you will see results within your first week guaranteed. Simply make some adjustments to your eating schedule, with a bit of clean eating, light exercise, and the pounds melt off like butter.


Fasting has been practiced for thousands of years. You can even read about it in the bible. It has to do with tapping into our inherent genes tracing back to when humans would "feast and famine". They would go out on a major hunt, eat alot of food, and then have periods of rest or famine. The human body has been used to going without food for long periods of time without food, dating back to Home Erectus, almost 8 million years ago.


When your body isn't focused on digesting food, your body is focused on healing itself. Your body is the best healer. This is why fasting has been linked to curing cancer, reduced heart disease, eradicating diabetes, and proven to elongate your life span. It's also linked to curing Alzheimer's disease, limiting seizures for people with epilepsy, improves your immune system, and of course weight loss.

By using this simple formula, you can lose 10, 15, 20 pounds with ease within a month to 2 month period at the absolute most. I personally lost 30 pounds in 2 months! Some use different variations, 12 - 12, or 18 - 6. I found 16 - 8 to be the best.





What you do is not eat for 16 hours, and have an 8 hour window for eating. Sound hard? It's not, considering that we sleep 8 hours a night. So the one that works best for most people who see the best results (without feeling like they really struggle). The easiest way to think about it is: You are simply skipping breakfast.


Eating window: 12pm - 8pm.

Rest window: 8pm - 12pm

2) Ketogenic Diet


The ketogenic diet has proven itself in recent years. It's an emphasis on low carbs, medium protein, and high fat. When you do this diet, your body learns to burn more fat for energy instead of carbs, helping to reduce your overall fat storage, thus increasing your energy because fat is a stronger molecular structure than carbs.


It's ketogenic because ketones are chemicals that your liver produces. When your body has a reduction of sugar or carbs, it naturally produces ketones. The liver of course is used for detoxification, protein synthesis, and produces chemicals to break down food. So, instead of your liver using sugar for energy, it produces ketones which help break down fat for energy. Mix this with intermittent fasting and your body becomes a fat burning machine!


Here's a suggested diet:

Low carbs: Leafy greens, kale, spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, pumpkin seeds, asparagus

Medium Protein: Fish, eggs, beef, chicken, turkey, shrimp, sardines

High Fat: Avacodo, nuts, cheese, yogurt, pastured butter, olives


3) Apple Cider Vinegar


Use this drink to help melt the pounds away. Drink it at night before you go to be, or early in the morning.


Typically the taste is too strong to drink by itself, so you want to distill it with a few items. One of the greatest fitness and health coaches Thomas DeLauer recommends mixing it with water, Himalayan salt, and lime. Sounds terrible, but you what you get ends up tasting like a virgin margarita! Try it and you might not dislike it as much as you think. It has fantastic weight loss benefits. On top of that it has many other personal benefits such as: Detoxifies your body, wards off flu, relieves allergies, lowers cholesterol, lowers blood pressure, dissolves kidney stones, slows and even kills cancer cells.

4) Turmeric

If you want to target your belly fat, than you want to start using turmeric on a daily basis. It helps to burn calories and therefore speeds up your metabolism and improves digestion. Turmeric has been used for hundreds of years across India and aids in reducing inflammation as well as shedding body fat. It's actually the most powerful anti-inflammatory on the planet. It strongly prevents fat accumulation on a molecular level, and will keep the pounds off. It goes great with many things.
